Why dont i have the chef experience on restaurant story ?

For bakery story theres is the chef experience where you cook a food so many times and then you get a bonud . But i dont see that on restaurant story and i know its supposed to be there because my friend plays the game also and he has it . Can someone tell me the problem ?????
