Is this quiet manipulation or what?

I have taken my friend out to dinner twice, which I have paid for on BOTH occasions. She has more money than me and after the meal she decided she wanted more from the menu, so I obliged and paid for it, as this is what friends do, right? She said, “I really like this restaurant”. I said to her, “Yes, me too. Next meal’s on you”. She nodded. This was Christmas time and still I have not had a return meal. It was her birthday last month and I put in her card, “Still waiting for my meal”. She then rang me a month later and said, “Let me know when you’re going to that restaurant again and I’ll come with you”. Do you think she’s getting out of paying – AGAIN? Anyone else would say, “Look, you kindly paid twice for me, now it’s my turn. Let’s set a date”, but no she’s turned it back round to me, I feel.
