What bass note do i play on this music sheet?

So im playing bass for this choir, and im looking at the music they gave me. Theres a song where there it has a (G) chord, on top of an A flat. Which note do i play? The one on the top or bottom? And when there is a note like Db/Ab, which note do i play? The one on the right or left?
