I work for a family owned restaurant in Washington state. My boss has informed during an employee meeting?

That the busser receive their tips once a week. As servers go they recieve their tips every night. Now idk how other restaurants work but I've never seen this before in any restaurants I've worked at. I want the same right as a server to claim my tips the next day. Now how it used to go I used to come in before my shift the next day to claim my tips from last night. My boss said that if I complained enough times my boss would put the tips on my paycheck which I receive once a month. I don't wantto jeprodize my job but, is it fair? I'd really appreciate the feedback!
