What are some tips towards feeling happy again during long term unemployment?

I know the feeling! Honestly the only thing that helped my unemployment depression was finding a job. I get paid just above minimum wage but just getting that pay check every two weeks is wonderful. I love the feeling I get when all the bills are paid and there is a little extra left over! I say keep applying, and don't be afraid to work at a store, restaurant, etc. I wouldn't do fast food but those are just my standards. I actually really like my job (work at Walmart) so you can enjoy a lower end job. Then you might want to think about going back to school. There are thousands of careers, you can be happy and still make money! Consider the short-term first, an example is nursing which takes one year (LPN) and pays up to $20 per hour to start depending on where you live. Also I would recommend not listing your education. Half the time employers won't research that sort of thing. It might hurt your chances. I told Walmart I'd been to college and they didn't even want details, to get hired you just have to be liked. Start working at red robin tomorrow as a line cook (hot side) what is the best way to learn the menu?

the gm gave me a study guide and its so much stuff.. i know its not as much as other restaurants but i have only worked in the kitchen at fast food restaurants and i did really well at that.. anyways i do really well with hands on learning but i want to know some stuff before i go in there .. should i make flashcards with the list of what goes on what burgers? or should i just read over it and let them show me? i want to show some initiative and dont want them to think i never looked at the papers.. what do you think is the best way for me to learn some from the paperwork?

Hamster bedding help?

I really love carefresh paper based bedding, but now that I have Sonny, my new Syrian, I'm going to have to buy a lot more of it. Right not he's in a 10 gallon aquarium, but I feel it is much to small and need to upgrade it some how. Jojo, my other Syrian, is in a 20 gallon long, and that alone takes up a lot of bedding. Right now I used Carefresh natural. I suppose the colored ones are nice, but I never took an interest in them. I usually buy a 60 liter bag ( expanded) from my local pet stores for about $20, It lasts me at most 3-4 weeks. I know there are some alternatives, but I forgot what they were. Other bedding options I've heard of have been hazardous towards hamsters, so I would like to know what kind. Thanks guys :)

What are the best acting classes in la for acting/singing/dancing?

hi my name is madasin i am a 15 year old who wants to beceome a dancer/actress/singer i alreayd take acting lessons and have a agent i live 2 hrs away from salt lake city utha thats where i got to acting classes but i am not sure about my agent /teacher she had my parents pay 1000 dollars for acting lessons which i guess is a resoniable price but now she wants my parents to pay 400 dollars to get onto her website shes a agent in L.A. so she says she can talk to directors producers and directors from la to get the perfect actor cuz they see your picture and face and look ext it sounds kind fishy but idk. .. anyway i have been doing acting since like i was 8 to like 11 and then i left it and hten when i was 12 or 13 i started to get back to acting and was becomeing serise and started doing plays and thater performances but the thing is i live in a small town where the popullation is around 2,500 people its fairly small and they dont have any school productions or community theater so its harder for me to get into tht stuff cuz we only have a play house that only dose around 3 theater plays a year or so so not much opertunites in school we dont have any drama clubs plus the people who do plays the directors dont know much about it their to laid back so its hareder to see what u have to improve on cuz u dont know what you did wrong but i have traveld far to sing.dance,and act and put on shows i love performing i just feel like its home i love intertaning people i have done solos in dance and singing also i am in a swing choir where they sing and dance so i have some experince but i want to get better so i am looking for the best acting camps in la for the summer that includes acting/singing/dancing not just one or the other but all of them i want to go to socopa but the dates are way to stricked and its around 4000 dollars for 2 weeks just for acting but i want all three of the arts i have looked at socopa and then camp brovo and california state summer school for the arts but since i am not a california resident i have to pay 5000 dollars instead of 1400 thats so stupied but idk if its to late to register i hope its not i really hope its not late do you guys know? i am just trying to look for a great camp to go to and that its not to late to sign up or register so if you guys could help that would be amazing oh and i have to be back to school by augest by hte 22 of march just plz i am begging for your adive and help it would mean the world to me if you guys can share your adive or schools thank you guys so much :)

i just got a call for an interview in 5 hours! what kind of question should i ask? it's a fast food restaurant, pretty small, and it sells pretzels XD. also how should i dress?
