Could I make it as a novelist?

I thought it was very good. You don't want me to judge like an adult with writing? Sigh. I thought it was interesting for an adult or not. It was very goodm.and it read 'tight' like you know-or have some idea of- where you're going with the story. It feels good to read a story that has some kind of direction. And this is about Anorrexia I assume. Maybe you can try to get this published when it's finished and edited. Seriously you have nothing to lose.
